Hyacinths are also a nono- ethylene. While ethylene makes many plants flower, it does cause bud blast and early flower fade in orchids.

Color is better in person. Can't get the lighting to really bring out the best in it. These are blooming from new growths, about half grown. spike comes out of the sheath near the rhizome
