Well, as far as I know, the more light you give, the more chances to get female flowers. Move them to the shade and you get male flowers.

I was sawing bamboo today... I was thinking it is much easier to do. At the end of the day I have material for only two big baskets. And I need about twenty, or even more......

Well, I've tried this method and I didn't like it. In order to be wet this clay pot should be always full of water. If it is half full - it is dry where the clay doesn't touch the water.
