Default Cattleya rex

As promised some photos of Cattleya rex.
Very rare in Europe, this beautiful species.
In bloom now, for the first time.
Plant imported from Peru, two years ago.

Regards!
Peter

With such an awesome blossom, you have to tell us:

How have you been caring for it? Conditions? Tips & Tricks?

The culture of these classic Cattleyas is simple. Never repot when no active rootgrow visible. Lots of water in growing period, but let plants get dry in between. When no active growing, keep on dry side. Just follow the culture descriptions everywhere available! These catts are quite simple to keep, if you follow the simple instructions.
