Fragrant Phal ID???

The first plant...I bought this phal a few years ago and it came with the tag "Phal. Pingtung Gold"... However i dont believe that it is a pingtung gold as its flowers are a different shape and lack...

Thank you for your replies! I tend to buy whatever i like the flower of, and am able to water every day if required. I am thinking of using a mixture of bark and leca for most of my smaller orchids....

i have a few phrases that do this at the tips. i think it can form from over fertilizing but I'm not sure. just cut the leaf off if it spreads closer to the crown. :)

I agree with ray. However if you want to display your blooming orchids you can top dress with sphag then remove it when its done blooming:)

That is definitely a keiki. I would lay the cane in some moist moss and let it grow. That plant may be a den. kinganum but without the flowers it is difficult to identify. hope this helps :)

You don't HAVE to pre-soak but when i do it i soak the bark overnight/the day before reporting the orchid. You can also pot the orchid, then soak the plant in the pot.
