Months ago I knocked over this NOID dendrobium I have (pictured above), and fortunately all that happened was an old leafless cane broke off. I like the reddish color the old canes develop so I didn't throw it out and left it carelessly by the window. I hadn't looked at it til recently, when I noticed this little nodule.
It's very small. I took this picture a week ago and it already has three more roots, but the bulbous thing itself hasn't increased in size.
It's still sitting by the window in the same spot. I've sprayed the roots with water a couple of times. My question is, what do I do for it now? Water it, fertilize it, plant the cane into a new pot, or not? Is this a keiki? And maybe someone can help me with identifying this dendrobium. Any advice appreciated!
