Here in Pennsylvania I water my Oncidium every other day all winter long to keep it healthy. It too is in bloom now and sucks up the water.

my twinkle took nearly 4 months:
just too add my two cents: my twinkle pink sent up multiple spikes in early august. this week the flowers began to open!

next time I should be smarter and get the plant out of the light as the spike...

Hi there, can anyone say if this white area on this spike is sunburn or something else?
This 13" spike only produced 7 buds and 2 buds have fallen off. There are 2 more buds that are in bad shape....
