toppling over is def a problem if there is a heavy wind (ive had it happen multiple times)... but if its breezy it seems to hold its own... maybe that problem can be solved with something heavy on...

i have about 20+ vandas and in Orlando... the weather has been terribly cold so i have my vandas on a clothes rack so i can cart them in and out of the house.... not sure if this is a possibility for...

like the others have written, i would suggest...

like the others have written, i would suggest giving the roots a good soak so that you can work with them more easily (and not worry as much about damage).. you can try to cut the plastic basket away...
