Maybe it’s from Satomi that I’ve picked it up, so this is just how I interpreted the term and I could be incorrect. I think of “navy” as being a darker bluish green, like the stripes in misukage.

Thanks for the feedback. I will let each spike produce a few more flowers before I try to get a seed pod. I should have a better sense at that time if I'm making a sib cross or a selfing.
