I bought a haetracalla retracalla orchid it is mounted on tree fern was wondering if i can put it in a vase with leca beads and leave the lid on at all times. Would that be fine.

I would like to know if you can use red lava rock for your orchids that is used for landscape for flowers from lowes? Iwould like to try something different since it doesn't break down like bark does.
