My dendrobium has just shed its blooms and I noticed a few days ago there was a growth at the side of the stem. Is it a flower stalk or a keiki?

So after bloom, I cut below this damage node or above it? Cos the top 2 looked like the flower bud fell off.

Yeah, it was under scorching sun when I was away. My in law didn't know and put it right under the sun and then there was a thunderstorm. So it got sunburnt and drowned as well :(
