I know what you mean, but I live out in the country, in Kentucky, in a house that doesn't have airtight windows, and believe me, A LOT of other bugs get in because they are attracted to the lights....

Well personally I would try to scratch the mold off with my fingernail first, and then spray the area with listerine or hydrogen peroxide. Also, be sure to isolate that plant from your other plants!...
