It would seem so. Also, Oncidiums tent to stop caring about the season in reference to blooming once they hit a certain size, so this doesn't surprise me.

Yep, I would say it's a Magic Lantern. really good buy for $10. Good form, and I would assume you would get darker color out of it if you put it in somewhat lower light; not substantially, though....

Nope, just the opposite. The plastic is the actual 'pot' and most orchids do better in plastic than terracotta. That sounds like a good amount of light and I shouldn't think so unless you open them...
