cut off any rotten roots treat it with fungicide. be careful not to over water it. other then that it should be fine. since the keiki is younger then the original plant it can take a while to catch...

Really just depends on the plants growth cycle. if its actively growing now could notice some new growth right away or it could grow slowly.

in the middle of the keiki there is a new leaf growing in then in front of the new leaf there is growth is it also a leaf? usually they grow from the middle of the previous one or so I thought.

sure thing. had to move it to be able to get it all in the pic the spike is quite tall. but here it is :D The leaf that is pointing up was like that when i bought it.
