Default Lowe's Has New Orchids

Lowe's (the home improvement chain store) has new types of orchids in then I've seen in the past. I don't think its against site policy to let you guys know that if it is you can remove this post and i`m sorry. Anyways they have Oncidium Orchids in a bunch of different colors some actually are not NOIDs and they have starter ones too and catts and of course a variety of phals and dens. The one where I live it looked like it was a brand new shipment because none of them were bad looking. I would have got a couple if my husbands job hadn`t been disolved a week ago so now we have to be careful with our money til he finds something else. i just figured since its sunday some of you might have the free time to check out your lowe's mine can`t be the only one that got new plants.

Yeah Lowe's kind of surprised me with it's selection. Our local one had native plants for like $2 and I got a little goodyera orchid And I don't think you're doing anything wrong, policy wise.

Gosh I must live in the only area without a lowes and I am betting even if we had one they would not carry the orchids in stock ....seems to be a orchid free zone here other than noid phals at wally world and home depo....and even home depo carries better-gro bag babies if you look at their website...but not here

Yeah, it's amazing oh much each store differs. There was a home depot in CT where my brother lived, and in the summer they had big Vanda hybrids and slippers and everything. It was crazy for a home improvement store anyway...

seems like everyone got orchids these days..IKEA just got more paphs. A maudie and a vini flame I picked up for 12 bucks each ,they bloomed in the plastic bag and one is got a broken neck and leans way over, the other ones shoe fell off when I got home. They are healthy with good roots and no ROT.. last time they had multi florals and sequentials...I still have them and they are growing like little bugs ona stick.

I say NO to anything Not a Paph..I feel like I'm evolving to kill more expensive plants.
