CUT SPIKE BACK TO LAST NODE Female
Default CUT SPIKE BACK TO LAST NODE

This morning, I decided to cut my spike in-between the last node and where the first bloom was on the spike. The spike itself is still green, but the reason why I cut it back is because that last node seems quite swollen. I'm hoping for a branch out. Does anyone know how long that could take? This phal was on liquidation for $8. It is so healthy - lots of stiff leaves, nice roots. The reason why I believe it was on liquidation, was because there was only one lonely flower left on the spike. Those are the times you get the best deals!

Really just depends on the plants growth cycle. if its actively growing now could notice some new growth right away or it could grow slowly.
