This morning, I decided to cut my spike in-between the last node and where the first bloom was on the spike. The spike itself is still green, but the reason why I cut it back is because that last node seems quite swollen. I'm hoping for a branch out. Does anyone know how long that could take? This phal was on liquidation for $8. It is so healthy - lots of stiff leaves, nice roots. The reason why I believe it was on liquidation, was because there was only one lonely flower left on the spike. Those are the times you get the best deals!
