My two Boys, Jake and Max ;) & Jake's surgery

You all have surely seen my boy Jake in my threads with my Chid hotels. He's the 'gaurd dog' :lol:

Well over thanksgiving weekend, we found his twin bro at the Humane Society! Another Pointer/Lab- We named him Max. And he is sooo cool!! 2 yrs old, just as Jake. We think they could be true bro's cause they both come from the Humane Society. We adopted Jake less than 2 yrs ago. He had 5 siblings. Max was adopted from there at that same time in 07, but brought back to the HS this Thanksgiving week due to his owner getting very sick, and in the hospital for a long time.

We are hoping they are tru bro's, but it doesn't matter cause they truly LOVE each other like Bro's :blowkisses:

These pics are of their First day/night together. And the second was this past Weekend.
It was really COLD out, we caught them Spooning!:rofl:
And I swear, we had Nothing to do with the way these two lay!!

Oh, added another pic to show the markings on them, the Racing Stripe we call it ;)
Ironically, they Both have it down their backs!! Looking like Twins!!
Only Jake is 'Phat'! I mean Thick... We've keep him spoiled with treats for tricks!!
Max just has to catch up a bit!

Actually Jake has the Lab body, stocky at 75lbs.
And Max has the Pointer body, long & lean at 65lbs.

Oh, and they LOVE their WATER!! Can't keep them out of the Pool and Lake!!
That's Max's first hrs with us, and already taking a step into the pool!!

I choose to believe they are truly brothers...and I love the way they are cuddling up!

Awwww, they are so adorable!! Looks like life is just perfect for them. Which one is which? I saw pics of Jake a while ago, but can't remember what he looks like. :blushing:

they look like litter mates and act like litter mates therefore they ARE litter mates!! brothers for sure! you are lucky to have two sweeties like that....

Here is my boy Jake!! Jake is the Phat'r one :lol:
He's got more Red on his ears, than Max does.
And more darker spots on him than Max too.
