FYI, my boy Jake is soooo happy today, and doing better and better!! Hopefully on Monday, he will be out of his stitches, and on the way of totally Healing!!!
|
Jackie, I'm so sorry I missed your last few posts about Jake! Looks like they did a great job on the surgery...me, SammiDoodles and Lukie have our fingers/paws crossed that Jake will be up and running in no time! :crossfing
I know he's getting the best care because he has you for a mommy  Keep us updated :) |
Jackie, I, too, missed the update about Jake's surgery, and I am sorry! Poor baby's going through it, isn't he? All of us in the Offerdahl family - dogs and people - will keep him in our thoughts and prayers!
|
What great looking guys, they gotta be brothers. I have 1 question! :hmm Are they sleeping in their own bed or did they move you out of yours?  The cover looks really comfy.
|
Thanks Sue and your babies, and Jim (is it)?-ALL the Offerdahls', we- ALL the Ross', doggies and all, truly truly appreciate your well wishes, and prayers!!! Jake needs them all!!!
Jakie just spoke at you's, saying Thank You!! ;) I told him to speak and he just kinda grovels-howls, etc. I'll keep ya posted on the trip to the surgeons' on Monday evening. Hopefully to take out the stiches!!! No more lamp shade for my baby :) Lorraine, they do push us out of our bed!! It's a California King, and still not big enough for the 4 of us!! so Jake and Max work their way around, till we have about 1' on each side, and they have about 6' in the middle! Actually they both have their own Gigantic beds, but would rather have ours  Cause they just love our comforter! Oh, and ya, we too think they are bro's!! So does everyone that see's them together! We hope they are, in way. But not because of the issues Jakie has with his back legs(knees), it could be genetic. |
They are adorable. So is Taz. Is that short for Tasmanian Devil? I used to have a mini Dachsie named Trouble. Really cute dogs! amazing to think you may actually have your dog's brother.
|
So Jackie...how's Jake today?
 |
Yes Quilter, Taz is for short on Tazmanian!!
And Sue, you wouldn't believe it!! We just got home from the surgeons' and his stitches are out!!! YAHOOOOO!!! No more lampshade!!!! Thanks for asking Sue ;) Now just 4 1/2 more weeks of isolation, and he'll be all better!! And that's soooo hard to do... Then we'll go back at it with his left leg :( But we have to fix our boy. He's just a pup, and can't even play like one. Maybe now, after both these surgeries, he can!!!! |
