The annual plan is $80.00 and goes as follows:

The Annual Maintenance and Update Plan includes one year of technical support and one year of updates (4 in total). It also includes any new versions of OrchidWiz which come out in that period. This option is for the US and Canada only due to shipping costs. PLEASE NOTE: You must have purchased the latest version of OrchidWiz Encyclopedia (currently 5.0) before you can buy the Annual Plan.

I have had this program since the beginning and it has expanded greatly over time. It is very valuable for judging, hybridizing and growing orchids and is worth the price of several books. I recommend it without any hesitation!

I was about to go buy the software, and then seen the annual plan stuff to buy as well...

I have to know something. Do we have to buy that annual plan Every Yr, just to have the newest and latest orchid info offered from this company??

Hmmm, Now I'm really scared, cause that's $ out of my pocket every Yr buying the yearly updates, instead of New Chids!

Is this program worth buying just as the basic program, and Not buying the $80 extra thing now. And Not buying the yearly updates?? Just having the $180 cost now?

Or is it ALL or None??

You don't HAVE to get the annual program right now...you don't even HAVE to get it at all. You can buy any quarterly update you want for $25 but the program upgrade is not included in that. By buying the annual plan, you'll save $5.00 on each update and get the upgrade included.

By not getting any updates, your program will not be up-to-date with all the changes that are always being made.

Also, remember that Alex is adding a new option next year (June, I think)...we will be able to catalog our own collections within Orchidwiz...which is just way too cool to even think about!!!

We've all come up with our own systems or even purchased separate software to catolog our collections...with the upgrade Alex will be providing, everything...and I do mean everything...orchid-related will be in one program!
