Laelia anceps - Dry sheath

It seems this plant finally got into the "correct" growth cycle. Yesterday I discovered more two new growths.

One is growing from the base of the pbulb that has the newest sheath (which is significantly fatter than all the other pbulbs-photo bellow).





The 2nd one is still very tiny and it's growing near and pointing to the medium. Probably it will change the direction and go upwards.



In the meanwhile, the result of the first few hrs of sun was this (the worst leaf). I believe it won't heal more than this.



I've been giving it 3 hrs of direct sun from 17:00 onwards. The rest of the day is on a south large window with bright indirect light. When I'm home all day I put it outside under a cloth to give it some partial shade (see previous post).
