For that price it's a bargain!

And even if the plant is not in tip top shape, phal-dens are tough guys that can withstand a lot. This one looks a lot like my Dendrobium 'Bertha Chong Blue'. I know dendrobium hybrids are like NoID phals so I'm not trying to identify it, and you already got some kind of tag, so

I got it for the same reasons as you did, the bluish lilac did it for me.
