yeah I'm a sucker for a bright red flower. this one is 'silver skies'
this is the best grower of all my epescias. prolific flowerer
I got this one locally, but if you REALLY love episcias my favorite place in the world is the Violet Barn.

It's gorgeous! I love red flowers, too. I grow related plants, streptocarpus, micro sinnigia and kohlara.
I may have to get rid of a few, they are taking valuable orchid space! I'll get rid of the Xmas cactus instead. There is an orchid show tomorrow.

I put in an order yesterday for 12 new african violets.  Can't wait to get them sometimes next week. They dooo rule !!!!!
Yesterday I did some clean up.  Older leaves, some dried up flowers and finally got around to writting down all of the names. So once I was done I decided that I needed some more in my collection.

They are great! They are so often in bloom when other things aren't. I have tiny micro siningias that grow happily in little jars and multiply like crazy. Under artificial light, they bloom most of the time.
