Watering in summer months

Is it ok to water your orchids twice a week in the summer months. Im in the uk and my orchids dry out very quick.

Make sure to never remove the aerial roots as these can help the orchid to recover if all the bottom roots root and die. Aerial roots may look unseenly but they are crutial for the orchid to bounce...

I always dry the crown if i get water inside the top leaves or inbetween the leaves. I think one of my orchids may of been in bloom for awhile in the shop so i guess its natural for them to start...
