Orchids can take just about anything for a few days as long as it's not an extream temperature. They will be fine.

I use the underside of my wrist like how you test the temperature of baby formula. I start a few inches up my wrist and roll it down towards your palm for a bigger sample size.

On a side note, my wife is from the Philippines and sometimes when I show her pictures of orchids from the Philippines she will recognize them and say that she's seen them on some of the properties...
