Mine always bloom in the winter. I dont give them a rest per-se. I just move them indoors in my basement, so. I guess the temps are lower. I don't change the watering schedule though.

Brassia Rex 'Waiomao Spotless' FCC/AOS

I got this orchid off of ebay from KawamotoOrchids, and they shipped it in spike. I paid $20 for it and it is huge. 26" to the top of the spike with large 4-5" pseudobulbs.
