I think it's fungal. From what I can see. Try some Thiomyl solution and repot. Apparently this plant doesn't like LECA. Some don't ever adjust to it while others do.

I agree. Don't cut off any more roots! Vanda roots can be tricky. Actually, the green looks like moss to me. It's okay though. I have a few like that and they are happy and blooming.

I love Grammatophyllums! I have the "Scriptums" and I can attest that they grow pretty fast! The Scriptum however is a lot more compact, as it grows with a pseudobulb and lacks the "trailing" habit...

I think it just all depends on your particular plants growing habits and your conditions. I've seen pictures with multiple spikes and flowers...and I've seen pictures with few spikes and/or flowers....
