Funny...I have the same problem. It looked great at first but now it is a little ratty looking as parts of the stems have died out. Perhaps it is in dormancy?

I would have to disagree with you. We are fortunate that the RHS is the official registrar for orchid hybrids worldwide. If we had each country register orchids there would be many duplicate names...

i have seen this occasionally. I think it's due to rapid expansion of the psuedobulb, perhaps due to heat or some other factor.
I wouldn't worry about it....
