Finally after months I have been able to log on to this forum again.
Have used 3 email addresses to contact this forum admin and have sent so many email I forget how many.
Have been trying to use my user name and my last pass word 30 plus times and this time it has worked.
But what happened to all my emails. Really thought that I had been banned.

Have just realised that I have used my old windows 7 lap top and have been able to log on.

All my other tries have been with my windows 10 lap top.

This makes me wonder......

Glad you made it back. It wouldn't be a total shock if it had something to do with Windows 10, but I log into this site with that and several other different operating systems with no problems, so my guess is that's just a coincidence.

A lot of times the software that's used to power websites and forums have security measures to prevent break-ins. So for instance, if you type your password in wrong 3 times in a row, your account may get locked. Without knowing details, perhaps the lock expired recently or perhaps the account locks were lost in translation when the forum software was updated.

Unfortunately, I don't think the site owner(s) are very responsive to us and were out of contact for a very long time until recently when they were tracked down due to all the technical issues the site was having. There's a thread out there from the past couple months with more details. Maybe some of the folks that have helped whip the site back into shape can chime in regarding the lack of response to admin mail and/or offer up some solutions? It could be as simple as routing notifications to several regular users and providing enough permissions to be able to handle requests like password resets and unlocking accounts?

Depending on what browser you're using with Win 10, it might be as simple as ensuring cookies are accepted.
