Hello there ok all of a sudden i have these very small flying insects all over my Orchids. saw some around one of them now almost all are infected. bugs seem to hangout on bottom of leafes and in the moss covering. any ideas and cures ??

nevermind i found the pest link looks like fungus gnats. i will follow instructions to remove.

You can use some of those sticky kinda fly traps that you can hang a little portion of it beside the your orchids, and the fungus gnats will stick to them.

These most often show up when you have deteriorating mix in your orchids, as that it where they live. Check your plants and see if some are in need of repotting. They will not harm the plants but are a nuisance, especially if your collection is in the house. Hanging the sticky bug strips where your plants are will help trap them, but it will not get to the root of the problem.

Pinguiculas are quite good in catching those pesky flying gnats. And they have lovely blooms too :)
