How to hook up and timer what now?

I finally sprang for a fog making device *** Mist Maker Water Fountain Fogger Mister Set - eBay (item 310014411719 end time Jan-19-08 17:45:00 PST) so that should be coming my way soon, but....
what kind of a timer does somebody electronically retarded (and pecuniarily challenged.. if that's even a word) like me hook it up to? and how?
Thanks!!

i use a cheap digital timer. the analog ones would turn the fogger on for a minimum of 15 mins which is too much for my conditions. mine is now turning on several times a day for a length of 3-7 minutes.

Thanks! where would i find these and how do i hook them up?

try large department stores or some place they sell
lights. it should be pretty easy to find. i got mine here so i'm afraid it won't be of much use for you :)

the timer goes between the wall socket and your plug, once you see one you'll get the idea.
it should come with the programming instructions.
:goodluck:

Ya, large department stores or hardware stores. My local Home Depot had a decent selection. I ended up with an Intermatic DT17. Very programable and easy!

irrka-
My BF is currently designing a combo drip irrigation, automated misting and automated ionic humidifier system (so we can leave town!!) He doesn't use the forum, but I can have him post his hardware specs and timers/tubes/misters/humidifiers for you.

Good luck (and P.S - our walmart was selling ionic humidifiers or 6 dollars a pop right now!)

Also on the left side of this screen there is a OB sponsor who sells many kinds, might better suit your needs.

the "grasslin" timers are actually a much better build quality.

but, this is the product you should be using...
