First time flower in my Rhynchovola David Sander. :biggrin: The flower is very slender and airy with a frilly lip, the digbayana part of the cross. I was surprised about the size of the flower, it was a lot bigger then i thought, but maybe the size varies from plant to plant...

One of my orchids is an RLC. Is this the R influence?

Yes, it is, David Sander is a cross between Brassavola cucullata x Rhyncholaelia digbyana, the 'spooky' form, and the length of the lip is from cucullata, the size, green color of flower and the frilly lip is from the digbyana.

Usually when Rhyncholaelia is mixed in the cross, most of the siblings will have a reasonable size flower with a frilly lip, and some also get the fragrance as a bonus!!
