4 Attachment(s)
this year I planted some mimosa pudica seeds this is my first time growing them and had a few questions.
Will a mix of peat moss and sponge rock work? I have a big box of schults plant food its a 32-10-10 is the nitrogen to high? and any other tips you can give me would be great :D |
Also what kind of pot would be best, I was going to put them in plastic will that be ok?

I grew this from a kit when my kids were little but I really don't remember much more than the pom-pom flowers and the thorns. Good luck!

Yes. These grow quickly. They are considered a weed and invasive species in some parts of the world. :)

Hi, they love heat and water, when watering be gentle to the leaves, the plant can wear itself out if it has to fold it leaves to often. So don't touch to much, and water from below if possible.
I grow mimosa every summer and they grow like weeds, easy to pollinate and get seeds from, i find if you soak seeds overnight they germinate in a matter of days. More sun then shade for these guys. |
