I grew this from a kit when my kids were little but I really don't remember much more than the pom-pom flowers and the thorns. Good luck!

Did they bloom the first year that you had them?

Yes. These grow quickly. They are considered a weed and invasive species in some parts of the world.

Hi, they love heat and water, when watering be gentle to the leaves, the plant can wear itself out if it has to fold it leaves to often. So don't touch to much, and water from below if possible.

I grow mimosa every summer and they grow like weeds, easy to pollinate and get seeds from, i find if you soak seeds overnight they germinate in a matter of days. More sun then shade for these guys.
