Thank you nenella.
I love these Colours too,the pink with the yellow-its a nice contrast.I think thats why its my favorite:)
I think it might be a Artemis-but i do have one with a Tag :) the shape is the same-just the colours are different and i dont know if they do have different colourings .

Ordphien 02-19-2013 06:11 PM

I would've bought that instantly.
Beautiful.

Orchids4ever 02-19-2013 06:55 PM

Thanks Ordphien
And i didn't buy it--- we have a little Flower Shop in one of our malls-The nice Owner can not sell them once the Flowers are gone-so since he likes me :) I get all the left overs.Sometimes he charges me $2-but mostly free-so i grow them and if i dont like them they go on our Society Table for the Draws.
Otherwise i end up with a trillion Noids-but i keep the ones i like-couple of years ago i even got a Species - But sadly i killed that one :(

How sweet and even the plant is nice to look at!

Orchids4ever 02-19-2013 07:38 PM

Thank you Silken
I know it needs a re-pot--- but every Time something happens when i re-pot :( I just re-potted my Den noid-I did post a Picture of it a while ago- It always says re-pot when finished flowering and thats what i do-but i guess the den did not like it. Within 2 Weeks i got no more Leafs left- I can kick myself for re-potting.And it had so many nice green healhty Leafs.I hate re-potting :(

I hear ya! When something looks healthy but potting is due, I am reluctant to mess with it. But I tell myself it is better than to wait until it is unhappy and losing roots.

I don't think the 'after blooming' is always appropriate. I try to re-pot when there are new roots growing and this can be at different times, depending on type of orchid. The new ones adapt better to new media and will support the plant if the old ones don't like it.

Now i know-this is the first Time ever that a Den did this to me. Mostly its catts that sulk for ever .
Next Time i re-pot -only when new roots are growing-for sure!!!!
