Keiki Mishap...Help

While removing a keiki from my NOID den, I screwed up the cut which resulted in the roots being left on the parent plant. :(

I didn't have the heart to throw away the now rootless 12" keiki so I potted it anyway and watered it with a DynaGro KLN rooting hormone solution in the hopes it will encourage new roots to form.

Has anyone here had a similar experience and was still able to successfully grow the keiki?

If a keiki too immature it might not work, but try the sphag and bag method.

first clean the cut part with physan then plant it then use rooting hormone and mist it a lot (mist not drench)
