Of my 5 Phals, this one being the only one not packed in sphag, I pulled it today to put it in a bigger clay pot and this is the best I have seen any of my roots look before and I have repotted a lot of Phals.

OK! i'm sorry! maybe I got a bit carried away on sharing this, but I was excited, I normally have to cut half my roots off,

Hey, no apologies needed - it's great to share the small triumphs. That's a great green healthy mass of roots so you're doing well by that phal. Soak it up!

Congrats man.

I agree, no need for apologies! I'm a sucker for photos, pretty root photos included. :)

I agree with jropad and kalanchoe, there's absolutely no need for you to apologise for being so happy about your lovely roots! I bet many others round here would share your excitement when similar successes happen for them.

OK thanks! I don't feel so silly now ;) doing 3 more sometime today, hope they will fair as well.

ohh brother!! a Phal planted in sphag, not 1 good root on it, eeehh! I went from great to awful, sphag vs woodchips, no argument! I don't know what to do with this, the plant is very healthy, when I get done cutting back the mush, there ain't going to be anything there. :bua:
