Of my 5 Phals, this one being the only one not packed in sphag, I pulled it today to put it in a bigger clay pot and this is the best I have seen any of my roots look before and I have repotted a lot of Phals.

I agree with jropad and kalanchoe, there's absolutely no need for you to apologise for being so happy about your lovely roots! I bet many others round here would share your excitement when similar successes happen for them.

ohh brother!! a Phal planted in sphag, not 1 good root on it, eeehh! I went from great to awful, sphag vs woodchips, no argument! I don't know what to do with this, the plant is very healthy, when I get done cutting back the mush, there ain't going to be anything there.
