Bifrenaria inodora alba
1 Attachment(s)
An alba variety of Bifr inodora (that usually has green petals/sépals and purple lip). Unfortunately the petals/sepals are 'dirty' (after raining)

These are SO cool! I really have to try one

That's such a cool looking orchid!

That is a very cool looking chid! There is something about it that reminds me of a lycaste...but only sort of...the pseudobulbs and leaves are different...but the flower is similar to me. :dunno:
Does it have a fragrance? Thanks for the post Frederico. |

Yes, Bifrenarias and Lycastes are closed allied! Some of Bifrenarias received first the name of "Lycaste", and it was changed later. Unlike what the name suggests, the "inodoras" are very scented!! |
It looks very nice! :) It's just a shame about the rain damage though. I too would have thought that inodoras would have meant it had no scent. Glad to know it's fragrant.
