Is this a fungus? Virus? Tried searching the internet but couldn’t come up with anything. Thank

LF - hard to say what the damage/injury is due to. It could be due to insect activity - such as biting or sucking, which damages the cells in the leaf. Or some other kind of animal ----- damaging the leaf.
If the region is dry and hard ----- then it will mean that the region is 'healed' (recovered). Check the region with your fingers ..... to see if it's all dried and hardened. And wash your hands thoroughly too afterwards. Is the leaf kept fairly dry most or all of the time? |
Yes, it is hard and dry. Hopefully it’s OK, just want to be sure that I don’t have a fungus or something thats going to spread to my other plants. Appreciate the reply!

Anytime LF. Nice to hear ----- hard/dry is good.
If the leaves dry relatively quickly after being wet, or if the leaves in the growing area remain dry all the time, and with gentle air-movement, then it really cuts down or even eliminates fungal kind of activity ----- naturally suppresses unwanted kinds of fungal activity. As for how the holes got there ------ just maintain nice growing temperatures - avoid rapid cooling or heating of leaves (eg. cold water suddenly on hot leaves etc) ---- and look for signs of insects and other animals that might be doing some damage. Sometimes, too much illumination (light) power into the leaves can burn leaves, and create spots etc. And every once in a while, apply weak fertiliser and weak mag-cal. |
Thank you so much! I have a fan running and I think temps are ok but.....I just got grow lights in the last month so I will watch that
