Last year I bought a piece of this pumila (without flowers). I was assured it was a variety suave, much lighter in color than the type. I decided to take the risk and... Well, as it had to be, the flower ended up being type, of course!!

Very nice Mauro! :clap: To me that bloom looks lighter in color than what I remember the Laelia pumila type to be. I just looked up pics, and yours is noticably lighter it seems....

Yes, Suzie, it is a Brazilian species often used to produce small sized hybrids.:)
