Welcome to the Orchid Board! You say it has not flowered since the accident with the cat. How long has that been? The buds I see now are on their way out, but the plant looks perfectly healthy. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Give it proper care, and it will put out another spike with flowers when it's ready. Maybe you could explain to us what you mean by "orchid water"?
