I'm about to call them myself (Heck I'll even ask for you and get you an answer at this point) and find out how much it'll cost me total w/shipping and quarantine time. I've wanted a Laelia praestans forever, and it seems like they are the only place to get one from. I'm desperate enough to pay extra to get it from them at this point, I spent 2013 trying to find one anywhere else to avoid the quarantine stuff.

JugleMel, I did email them the first time I was planning to do the order and got the same reply as others, it is due to the snails and therefor shipping restrictions from California to Florida. I did not get the answer when I asked why others do ship from California without the quarantine. To end this thread also, I do not wish to get to some heated bottle, I truly believe they are very nice nursery with amazing plants, and as I do understand they do cross their own, so many people enjoys their orchids and have no problem to wait. Since I do want only regular orchids, nothing really specialized or crossed specially by them, I will just try to get it elsewhere faster. The issue was, my plant was listed as SPIKING therefor I would love to receive it immediately, and not after the month when the spikes will be most likely done blooming, that's all!
