Vendors I have had luck with

Okay after the not so nice thread that I posted a few weeks back I decided to post some nice things on here

I have several orders on the way and have received several orders already here are the good ones that I have received.

Carter and Holmes- have ordered 3x's now and have never had an issue. Does take a little bit of time to get the order but it is sooooo worth it.

Kawamotto Orchids (store is on ebay). - from Hawaii but have never had any issues with them before. The orchids like C&H are MASSIVELY bundled up and my orchids are always in superior condition. Sometimes I even get a surprise.

ExoticOrchidspr- While one is in questionable condition the roots are in the best condition I have ever seen, the pots are literally filled to the brim with roots; healthy roots. They are in Puerto Rico. They wrap the plants up tightly and pack the boxes tightly as well. They even place wet newspaper around the top of the pot to make sure that the plant does not suffer during shipment.

I have several others coming in from various sellers. I will update as I go.

I've never ordered from Kawamotto Orchid on ebay yet. They seem to have some fair prices and the pic they post look nice, I might have to give them a try, Thanks for your feed back on them

I have 3(?) coming from them right now. The prices are great for the size plant I get and the fact that I know It will be happy and in great shape whenever it gets here without me having to worry and wonder.

especially for the price you have to pay to have some of them ship that is a great ease to my mind.

The one that I have from them now actually was actually needing to be split apart it was a Dens. To my kids, and the kieki it had had its own root system and everything and was set to be on its own. i was happy to see that as well.

C&H does have very nice plants and does pack very well; if you are out here on the west coast though, make sure you get a shipping quote before placing an order--they have the highest shipping cost of any nursery that I have ever ordered from; it cost $40+ to have 6-7 plants shipped from SC to OR...

If memory serves these are all Top rated sellers and they all are stores on Ebay (or the seller sells on ebay specifically) All of these sellers are state side and the shipping costs are better then Carter and Holmes

I have bought mainly cattleyas from Kawamoto on eBay and from visit.
I have to say I love how healthy and clean (I'm all about it!) the plants look.
I also love their superb job on packing and quick shipping.

O yeah I got a cat. Black magic with double spikes from them in mint condition. I love Kawamotto. Thwy have the best packing jobs. And I never ever have issue with the roots usually there are to many and I have a hard time fitting them in their assigned pots!

Ordered from Kawamoto like dozen times in last 2 year, and never ever been disappointed, just the opposite, in many times the plants were much bigger, always great condition and many times with spikes!
