I still believe that is something easily looked over in selection. Especially doing multple orders. I could understand the entire plant itself was in poor quality.

I got my orchids! It came earlier than stated; shipped this wednesday afternoon and arrived this morning (friday), so basically it took just over 24hrs. The plants look great and were packed with utmost care, and also had their labels.
One of which is a large cattleya in sheath which is a surprise as I didn't order any in bud.
I'm very happy with my order.

I didn't bring my camera on this trip so I am using my phone camera. Here are some photos. I am very happy with how clean the catts are and also pleasantly surpised at how large on of them was that is in sheath.

Hi Bballr4567, since you are on the southern end of Indiana, if you are ever planning a visit to Chicago, I would plan on visiting Hausermans Orchids. They are about five miles west of Ohare Airport in Addison, Il. Their nursery is incredible! Unless otherwise posted, you can explore every nook and cranny of their greenhouse. They originally supplied orchid corsages but over the years they have migrated their business to providing a lot of other orchid varieties.
This is my way of explaining that they do such a large volume of business that they cannot examine every plant they ship. If you are unhappy with your terminal plant, I'd call them and tell them your concern, I'm sure they will work with you on replacing the plant.

I would agree that if you are unhappy, to give them a call. Hausermann's actually sent me the wrong cattleya seedling, the first mistake in many orders. When I called and explained what happened, they sent me the right one immediately.

Im trying to wait and see what is going to happen. I've already called them and they understand the wait and see approach. If nothing starts to happen in two weeks they said to call them back and they will get out another orchid.

I never really said it was a problem.
I understand the scope of their operation and how many orders they get a day. Its easy to get one through that doesnt pass their standards. I think this was the fifth order from them and the first issue.
