Not a brilliant plant, but definitely not a goner. I see a lot of healthy leaf tissue, and there appear to be healthy roots too. How is the growing point? It will look ugly for a while, but I would keep it. I think you were correct to notify the seller though, and unless specified it has damage I think you should be due some compensation.

my first order was fine but not this guy. I know it will recover it is not too bad. but it will take a long while to grow enough roots to recover and bloom. thats all I wanted some compensation after spending 40.00
Now it is sitting on a vase with live moss to keep its roots out of any puddles. it has not started growing yet but I have only had it a week or so.

yes i agree. but I wonder why it has all those bad leaves you saw the brown spot wonder if the others had that? and why all the spit leaves?
now it gets a 20 to 30 minute morning soak then I drain the vase. it gets misted twice a day too.
