Wow, this is pretty cool! Growing it next to the Spanish moss is an interesting way to keep humidity high.

Yes that's a 'living Spanish moss' ball that houses several orchids for over 15 years. I spray it daily, rain or shine. The orchids on it get wet but dry really fast. The moss is facing the SW corner and gets lots of light. It blooms sometimes with tiny yellow flowers.

It sure does have the WOW factor going on. So how is your Spanish moss hanging? It is not planted is it? I am having a hard time keeping mine looking green. I even spray it sometimes twice a day.

It's just wrapped over basket and grew this long. Most important factor is that it gets strong south light.
