Wow!! That's beautiful. In the first pic, it looks like a strawberry!

Lovely plant, Leslie! Since this is in the Vanda alliance, will the stalk develop roots closer to the leaves? I'm wondering if that happened, you would cut it off that long stem?

Thanks all.
Matt, it is a vandaceous plant that requires the high light of Vandas. Unfortunately unlike them, this one doesn't throw aerial roots on the stem. All roots are buried inside the pot, made of tree fern and bark. The keiki at the base is also rooted inside.
I have not repotted this plant for over 8 years. Because of this bounded root nature, I water it quite often, up to 3 times a week...
It grows 2 inches from two T5's in a bright slightly shaded south window.

So it is considered a Vanda. But it doesn't act like a Vanda LOL! Thank you for this additional information Leslie. I saw a couple of these plants at an orchid show over a year ago. Very small seedlings. The vendor told me the plants would bloom in about 3 years. They wanted $50 for one very small plant. Now I wish I bought the plant, after seeing your plant!

I'm sure you will find at Redlands. I might be there too!
