Rhynchostylis gigantea
This is a spotted gigantea blooming for the first time for me. It is growing in a 6-inch plastic basket with orchid bark as the media.

That's a dark beauty. Just love these. Hope to see my gigantea's in bloom this winter, as usual. BTW, I also use those plastic net baskets for many of my plants.

The flowers have a slight fragrance. The gigantea is hung with my Vandas under 50% shade. The plants are watered in the morning and late afternoon. They are fertilized once per week.
