This hybrid originated from our island and was registered with the RHS in 1972.
In late Sep, I brought back a bunch of Mokaras and Arandas from the office. Their blooms had spent and the office landscape vendor was going to discard them.
A month later, I spotted a spike node emitting from this Aranda. It just came into full bloom. The flowers are really
strong and lasting. It rains now nearly every afternoon at this time of the year. Unlike the Pachara Delight (also just came into bloom) which started to show rain water damage after a few days, the Aranda flowers remain pristine!
I tied it to a pot stand with sp. moss clasped tightly around the roots.
