This one has become a very reliable bloomer and always easy on the eyes. If you love nice tesselation then you will love this guy.

Yeah, beautiful flower. I think the intense blue Vanda are one of the prettiest of all flowers. The plant looks really healthy too! Nice big wide green leaves.
I bought this clone two times this Summer. Both times they died from crown rot. First time was one week after purchase and second one was a month after I bought it. None of my other Vanda have done that. Anyone else have this problem?

That's unfortunate. Seems like you got water in the crown that settled overnight. You should try again though. Mine loves where it's at, growing like crazy! It had a dbl spike just a month ago. I had a lot of rain the other day for two weeks, and my V. tessellata got rot in the crown and i pulled out the leaves when i came back from my travels....it sent out keikis though.
