I was beginning to wonder when I would get this one to bloom a second time for me. All it was doing was growing and growing and growing; and the amount of roots it has put out is ridiculous....so many! Its just over 3 feet tall; Not including the roots! It seems very happy as it has leaves from the base all the way up. I have a lot of semi-teretes that are crossed with this one and you usually can tell by the distinct marked segments on the lower sepals.
I loove this one because the flowers glisten in the sunlight and seem to glow white, and then other times it gives off a pearlescent or more so an iridescent effect based on the angle at which you look at the flowers. Just gorgeous, and 20 flowers too....not bad!

Oh....The other massive flowers in the back (off to the side/front in one of the pics) is a cross between it and V. Srakaew with massive 5-6inch flowers.

Had I taken a wide shot of this orchid you would have seen the ones in bloom hanging in wooden baskets on the wall.

Thanks Philippe. Its surprising how much of an impact these flowers make even though at first glance on a cloudy day they don't seem like anything special.
